Immunogenetics is a branch of basic sciences which delves into the relationship between genetics and the immune system. The immunogenetics research center in the medicine school of Mazandaran University of Medical Science has been founded with the purpose of conducting research in this field and aims to be active by focusing on the pathology of the immune system diseases and rooting them out.
With the objective to study the genetic basis of the immune system diseases, namely the autoimmune disease, chronic inflammatory diseases, and immunodeficiency, this center managed to obtain its license from the Ministry Of Health And Medical Education in 2013.
